Ding.

The elevator doors clanked open before the two girls, who rushed out of it, clumsily kissing as they stumbled out into the foyer of the sixth floor of the hotel. Both of them paused long enough to break apart and fumble around for the key to their room. The elusive key was found only after a minor bit of groping in the back pocket of Sini’s pants. Dilly gave her a look and tilted her head to one side.

“What? Like I was suppose to remember that it was back there with you all over my neck and distracting me?!” Sini muttered and grabbed the key from Dilly’s hand and looked at the room number. 627. Sini snickered. “Did you ask for this room personally?”

Dilly rolled her eyes and snorted tersely, “Luck of the draw.” She purred and leaned into Sini’s arms, nuzzling her neck, determined to get back to that kiss. But her girlfriend had a better idea in mind. Sini grabbed her hand and pulled her down the hallway to the left where the odd numbered rooms were.

623…625…there it is! 627. Sini slid the key into the lock and twisted the handle, pushing it open with a whoosh of cold air that hit them both. Dilly shivered behind her, pressing close to her back.

“It’s just a room, Dilyana. See? No tuxedoed Tomo in sight.” Sini laughed and Dilly smiled sheepishly.  She shrugged lightly and pushed Sini into the room, flicking the light on as she followed.

“I know it is. At least it’s better than being out in the hallway with the homicidal Jared’s.”  Dilly flopped onto the bed, dragging the small bag with their change of clothes in it onto the floor beside her.

Sini gave a small ‘hmm’ and started to investigate the room, lifting things, opening drawers, and taking out their contents. “If the dead chick shows up we can have a threesome.”  Dilly made a none too subtle choking sound and stared wide eyed at Sini.

“I’ll take the Shannon twin.” Dilly said offhandedly once she had managed to get her head back on straight and headed to the bathroom. “Hey we got one of those showers you like so much.” Sini turned and dashed into the bathroom, nearly tackling Dilly to the ground.

“Oh, my god!” Sini squealed with delight. It was her favorite kind of shower (and Sini had a fond love for showers, especially if there was sex involved).  It was the kind that was simply more or less a curtain with two drains, one for the inside of the curtain and one outside to catch the water that might drain out. There was no defined rim of the stall, only the expanse of flat tile that was the floor.

Sini smiled and wandered off smiling back at Dilly, who shook her head. They’d more than likely spend half of the night in that shower, if Sini had anything to do with it. Dilly decided to take out the handcuffs early tonight. Better not let her love’s attention stray too much to the bathroom.  Dilly remembered the last time they had spent the night in a hotel with that kind of shower stall. Needless to say it had been a hard night to forget.

“DILYANA!” Sini shouted, shaking her out of her thoughts.

“Yeah, what?” Dilly shook her head and tried to clear her head. A tingling warmth had started to spread through her body at the buzzing memories in her head.

“Do. You. Want. A. Coke?” Sini punched out the words as one would to someone that wasn’t quite all there in the head. Which with Sini around, Dilly wasn’t, but that really wasn’t her fault.

“Sure.” Dilly nodded. “If you find a whiskey machine get me some too.”

“Not on your life, you know I hate it when you’re drunk.” Sini grumbled and grabbed some extra change out of her purse and headed out of the room to the coke machines.

Dilly stretched out on the bed, shifting uncomfortably in the silence that had been left around her. Something in the room just didn’t feel right but Dilly just assumed it was because Sini had left. She always tended to feel a little off whenever she was away; like something wasn’t right with the world.

Deciding that she needed to at least get their things unpacked, Dilly slipped off the bed and grabbed the duffle bag that she had set down earlier beside it.  She smiled as she pulled the first of the articles of clothing out of the bag. It was the silk robe that she had bought Sini for her birthday. She let the soft material slip through her fingers, caressing the gentle folds of it as she inhaled the scent that lingered on it. It was Sini’s favorite perfume, All Hearts. It was a slightly fruity perfume with a sharp, sweet after scent that stung Dilly’s senses.

The door opened and Sini came sauntering in, effectively ruining the moment with a her cheerful singing of Cemetary Drive and carrying two cans of Coke and the bucket that are always in hotel rooms full of ice.

“I saw the weirdest thing at the vending machines ba--,” She paused in her singing to speak and looked at Dilly; then smiled in a knowing way. Dilly nervously dropped the robe back into the duffle and deposited it on the floor, unpacking now the furthest thing from her mind.

“Having fun?” Sini set the cokes down on the desk and popped one open, filling one plastic cup with ice and filling it with the brown liquid, the whole time with a subtle smirk on her face.

“I was just unpacking our things.” Dilly said, trying to sound nonchalant, but Sini could hear the tenseness in her voice.

“I think there is blood on the vending machines.” Sini stated calmly, pouring the second cup and handing it to Dilly, who stared at her blankly. Dilly blinked slowly, as if confused before she managed to say something.

“Are you serious?”

“Yeah, it looks pretty fresh, too.” Sini nodded and sat down on the bed. Dilly stared at her in disbelief.

“You’re kidding me.” Dilly said.

“Nope. There’s a sign too. Says to stay out of room 627.” Sini took a sip of her coke, grinning at Dilly over the rim of the cup before giving a small laugh. Dilly groaned and dropped to the bed beside Sini.

“You are kidding me.” Sini chuckled and set her cup down on the floor beside the bed before wrapping her arms around Dilly.

“Or am I?” Sini wiggled her eyebrows and nipped playfully at Dilly’s ear.

“You are so not funny.”

“I’m hilarious and you love me.” Sini purred into Dilly’s ear and grabbed her cup from her hand, setting it down beside hers on the floor. It wouldn’t matter later anyway whose was whose. They shared drinks, among other things, all the time.

Dilly pressed a hungry kiss to Sini’s lips, tugging lightly at her bottom lip before pulling her on top.  Sini frowned slightly down at her and muttered gently against her lips. “You know I don’t like being on top.”

“Unless of course I’m tied up.” Dilly commentated, brushing her lips across the metal ring in Sini’s bottom lip. She had just gotten it three weeks prior and already Dilly had grown fond of taunting and teasing Sini with it just the way she always did to her own piercing.

“That’s a give and take relationship there and has nothing to do with either one of us being on top or bottom.” Sini grumbled, rubbing her hips against Dilly’s, who moaned softly.

“That’s the lamest excuse I’ve ever heard in my life,” Dilly bit Sini’s neck roughly, enticing a low groan from the latter.

“I do the best I can.” Sini gasped as Dilly placed kisses to her collarbone. She had to give her baby credit, she knew what she was doing. And she knew how to do it well.

“Well your excuses suck and therefore I’m gonna have to figure out some way to teach you how to make better ones.” Sini grinned up at Dilly, a sardonic twinkle in her eyes that just begged for Dilly to teach her a good lesson.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Dilly and Sini looked behind them, startled. The three swift knocks had come from behind the headboard of the bed. They had been quiet but they were still clearly audible. Sini looked up at Dilly and shrugged.

“Must not be quiet enough to suit them. I didn’t think we were being that loud.”

“I’ll give them quiet,” Dilly growled, grabbing Sini by the hips and pulling her closer to the edge of the bed. Sini giggled and leaned up, placing a kiss on Dilly’s lips firmly.

“They’re just jealous.”

“You say that about everyone, baby.” Dilly raised an eyebrow, enticing a dark chuckle from the blond.

“Well, they are.” Sini muttered, sliding her hands under the hem of Dilly’s shirt and pulling it up and over her head. It was quickly discarded on the floor.

Bang!

Sini jumped and jerked her head up towards the ceiling where the loud noise had come from. This time it had been clearly heard and loud, like someone had dropped something heavy. Dilly followed her gaze, a quiet snarl on her face. She scooped up one of her shoes from the floor and tossed it up at the source of the disturbance and quite blatantly strung out a parade of cursing. Sini giggled and ducked as the shoe came down, moving out of its way just in time.

“Your temper is showing again love.” Dilly was still glaring at the ceiling, as if it was the source of the noise itself.

“How come you can’t have any fun in hotels anymore without people being bitches?!” Dilly swore and stormed off towards the door, intent on giving their neighbors a good taste of her opinion on the matter but Sini pulled her back, wrapping her arms around Dilly’s waist.

“Shh. Come back here, let the bitches bitch if they want to. We’re gonna have a nice evening whether they like it or not.” Dilly grumbled half-heartedly, but with that sweet tone of Sini’s there wasn’t really much she could say to convince herself not to comply. Still she gave the wall where the first disturbance had come from a scrutinizing glare. It was only then that she noticed the crack in the wall, from the top of the headboard up to the top of the ceiling. It was jagged, but not very wide.

“What in the hell is that? Was that there before?” She pointed at the crack in the wall and Sini peered at it closely, then furrowed her eyebrows before lightly flicking Dilly on the arm.

“That’s what happens when you throw things!” Dilly winced but laughed lightly. “Come on, we’ll report it to management in the morning.” Sini pulled Dilly by the hand and headed towards the bathroom with a sly grin on her face. “Right now I need a shower.”
